Oakland Center for Spiritual Living (OCSL) is a 501(c)3 Religious Non-profit Corporation. Unless otherwise specified, all charitable contributions are tax deductible and will be placed in the organization's General Operating Fund. In the event OCSL incorrectly processes your credit card, debit card or e-check authorization, the amount in question will be refunded.

Refund Policy

Donations: Believing in the Law of Circulation, we know that a giving consciousness promptly and automatically benefits the giver as well as the receiver.  Therefore, all donations are final and no refund will be issued - unless in a rare exceptions.  For more information, please contact our executive director at (510) 547-1979 ext. 315.

Non-donations: In the case of ticket sales, class registrations or other product sales, request for refund(s) must be submitted in writing within 30-days of purchase date. For more information, please contact the administrative assistant at (510) 547-1979 ext. 311.

Privacy Policy

We believe your privacy is important and we are committed protecting it in an appropriate manner. This notice explains our Privacy Policy (this "Policy") regarding such matters as the kind of information we collect, how we use that information and the choices you can make about that information. Please read this Policy carefully. We may revise or amend this Policy in the future, so please check this Policy from time to time. Your use of the Site signifies your agreement to this Policy, and your continued use of the Site in the future signifies your agreement to any revisions to it.

We collect several different types of information. On some pages you can order tickets for events and programs, register for classes, answer surveys, express opinions, subscribe to one of our online services - such as (e-)newsletters - or participate in one of our online forums or communities. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected at these pages include: name, gender, age, zip code or address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number and credit card information. From time to time, we may ask for other personal information, such as your interests, occupation or your preferences regarding various products, programs, and services. The more information you volunteer, the more we can enrich your experience at the Site.

We may use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries about our offerings, to fulfill your requests for our products and services.  Our employees, agents and contractors who have access to personally identifiable information are required to protect the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.  They may not use the information for any purpose other than carrying out their services for OaklandCSL.org.

Security Policy

When processing online transactions with the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
