“Touching Your Spiritual Reality” by Rev. Muata Rasuli
You are not your body! Come experience the Spiritual Reality that is you. So often we are measuring and sensing life through our thoughts, feelings, and experiences brought forth through our bodies. Consciously and unconsciously we begin to identify ourselves as our bodies. This workshop, facilitated by Rev. Muata Rasuli of the San Francisco Center for Spiritual Living, will help you get in touch with the Spiritual Reality that is your true being. Through fun exercises, meditation, inspirational reading, and discussion you will expand your thoughts about, and sense of, reality and realize that it is the Spirit that manifests Itself in and as the body. You will increase your awareness and power to influence your physical response to this Spiritual Reality.

Sharing Mother Nature’s Abundance
The Sacred Planet Ministry will be sharing and recirculating Mother Nature’s Abundance! Pesticide-free fruits and vegetables, some from our OCSL garden, will be available on a love-offering basis. Proceeds will support our ministry activities. To transport your goodies home, we encourage you to bring your own bags (paper, plastic or shopping bags). Also beginning Sat. Aug. 7, you are welcome to contribute the abundance from your pesticide-free garden. Please email Yolanda and describe your offering, (drop off is Saturday and Sunday am only for Sunday sale). A labeled box will be provided near the social hall.

Sunday, August 29 Celebration Time Is Here!!! It's our community’s 65th Anniversary Celebration. We will have a BBQ, games, Italian Ice, cake walk, raffle, face painting and more. Let’s come together and blow the roof off with joy! We are putting together a commemorative book, in keeping with the theme of the year “The Invitation” we “invite” you to stop by our table in the courtyard after both services to celebrate our 65th Anniversary and sign up to put a celebratory ad in this booklet, for this once in a lifetime experience, a community celebrating 65 years. HAPPY 65TH ANNIVERSARY OCSL!!

• MONTHLY PRAYER: Every month, we at OCSL are in prayer for one of our sister communities & also for one country in the world. This month we dedicate our prayer to: The Universal Centre of Truth for Better Living, Kingston, Jamaica - Rev. Dr. Sheila McKeithen, CSL and the country of Jamaica.
• VACATION TIME SPECIAL REQUEST FROM REV. JOAN
  Summer may take you away from OCSL more often than at other times of the year. I’d like to invite you to remember the Center in your plans. Though you may come and go, we remain...always. Please be sure to continue to support OCSL, both financially AND in your prayers. As you consciously practice the principles of giving, know that you are richly blessed by the Law of Circulation. • OCSL WORKSHOP REQUEST FORM GOES ON LINE! Have you been thinking about offering a workshop or seminar at OCSL? Now is the time to submit your request to EC (Ecclesiastical Core) for Fall 2010. The big news is that the OCSL Request Form is now available on line at our website. We highly recommend submitting your request online. Hard copy request forms are available in the sanctuary foyer and need to be put in the EC Box in the sanctuary foyer closet. In order to facilitate timely manifestation of your request, your completed request form should be received one week prior to the EC monthly meeting which is the first Wednesday of each month.
