spiritual practices: Affirmation
Affirmations are statements we make about our being and our lives. The word affirmation means “something validated, made firm.”

An affirmation is a desired state in present-tense terms as if it is already manifest in our lives. With affirmations we can reprogram our minds as if we are filling a glass of dark, cloudy water, drop by drop, with clear water.

Writing Affirmations

  • Make them personal: I am . . . I know . . . I let . . .
  • Make them short (one sentence if possible)
  • Write them in the present tense; never use the past or future tense
  • Make the vocabulary personal to you; use your own manner of speaking
  • Be specific, but do not outline; state what but not how

March, 2010 Affirmations

March 7: Just Us for All

God in me, as me, is me, therefore, I am well and strong in Spirit, Mind and Body right here and right now.

I acknowledge the divine pattern at the center of all life and claim it as my own. I look beyond appearances and behold harmony, order and balance everywhere.

March 14: Cleaning the Spiritual Closet

God in me, as me, is me, therefore, I am well and strong in Spirit, Mind and Body right here and right now.

I now release anything that would hinder or obstruct the realization that God is my life.  In this consciousness of willingness and heightened awareness, I am free to live my highest possibility.

March 21: Discipline and Discernment

God in me, as me, is me, therefore, I am well and strong in Spirit, Mind and Body right here and right now.

I am in the flow of God Consciousness.  Standing firmly in Truth, I am open and receptive to divine guidance.  I walk in wisdom and grace all the days of my life.

March 28: Center, Anchor and Behold

God in me, as me, is me, therefore, I am well and strong in Spirit, Mind and Body right here and right now.

Today I celebrate the Eternal Spirit at the center of my being.  I behold the light of the living God and am anchored in the consciousness of the All Good.
