Staff Ministers

Senior Minister – Rev. Jeffrey R. Anderson, M.A.

Rev. Jeffrey joined Oakland Center for Spiritual Living as Senior Minister in 2015. After 13 years as a full-time licensed spiritual counselor, he enrolled in the Holmes Institute of Consciousness Studies, graduating in 2005 as a licensed minister of Centers for Spiritual Living and with a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies.

Rev. Jeff has served as Interim Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living in Quincy, CA, was co-founding minister of the Healdsburg Center for Spiritual Living in Healdsburg, CA and served at the Center for Spiritual Living in Santa Rosa, CA.

In addition to his ministerial duties in Oakland, Rev. Jeffrey is also adjunct faculty at Holmes Institute Graduate School of Spiritual Leadership teaching ministerial students pastoral care and guidance.

He is author of The Nature of Things ~ Navigating Everyday Life with Grace, published in 2012 by Balboa Press, a division of Hay House Publishing, and is an expert contributing author for EZineArticles.com.

Rev. Geri Carder, M.A. – Staff Minister 

Rev. Geri Carder has served in many capacities at the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living. Her spiritual path reached a milestone in 2015 when she graduated from the Holmes Institute School of Spiritual Leadership with a Masters degree in consciousness studies and was licensed as a minister of Centers for Spiritual Living.

Rev. Geri is currently in charge of our pastoral care ministry, teaches accredited Science of Mind and Spirit classes, and supports both the ecclesiastical and the business aspects of the Oakland Center in many ways.

Rev. Sally Bartholomew, M.A. – Staff Minister 

As Oakland Center’s newest staff minister, Rev. Sally Bartholomew continues to learn and grow her consciousness through teaching classes and serving various ministries.  When she discovered the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living and Science of Mind and Spirit philosophy through reading books by Louise Hay and the Science of Mind magazine in 2008, she knew she had found her spiritual home.  Ever the avid student, she jumped right into taking classes, which lead her to diving even deeper into practitioner studies and subsequently being called to ministry.  Sally graduated from the Holmes Institute School of Spiritual Leadership with a Masters degree in consciousness studies and was licensed as a minister of Centers for Spiritual Living in January 2020.

Rev. Sally believes the greatest power of the Science of Mind and Spirit teaching is its emphasis on empowering individuals to know their spiritual truth of Oneness with God and its sharing of tools, study materials, and spiritual practices to help individuals embody this truth.

Rev. FranCione, Ph.D. – Staff Minister 

Rev. FranCione, Ph.D., Director of the Sacred Arts & Living Center (a teaching chapter affiliated with the Centers for Spiritual Living) is an ordained minister, professional educator, teacher trainer, and former educational researcher.

Rev. Tony Bradford, M.A. – Staff Minister 

Rev. Tony Bradford is a dynamic and humorous speaker, gifted teacher and compassionate counselor. Rev. Tony earned his Master’s Degree in Consciousness Studies at the Holmes Institute and became an licensed Minister of Religious Science in 2012. He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa and attended the Pennsylvania State University where he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clothing/Textiles & Marketing. His calling is to serve, and his focused Ministry going forward will be working in the HIV/AIDS prevention communities throughout the Bay Area.
